Action C.1 aims to evaluate the benefit that the project’s actions can be made to local and national socio-economic contest and to monitor the technical progress. The action is divided into four tasks.

C1.1 Socio-economic impact. Monitoring of direct (i.e. fallouts in term of employment and number of purchase order), short term indirect (i.e. improving expertise of economic actors technicians & researchers actors involved in the forest management), long term indirect (estimating different future economic value of forests that will apply and those will not the practices defined in LIFE SySTEMiC by the GenBioSilvi model developed in Action B2) as well as social (i.e. visitor presences, awareness of the users and perception of the local population in the project sites) effects of the project.

C1.2 Impact of project actions on local populations and stakeholders. Monitoring the impact of the project actions on local populations and the stakeholders involved by number of events organized for different target audiences, number of participants in project activities, web-site and social media statistics, number of copies of informational and other material disseminated to general public (i.e. leaflets, newsletters, layman’s reports) and expert audience/stakeholders (i.e. guidelines etc.), number and level of engagement of stakeholder in project activities. Short surveys aiming to gather feedback from event participants, on-line polls to gather opinion of general public and questionnaires and targeted interviews to gather feedback from stakeholders will be also prepared and submitted.

C1.3 Monitoring of technical effectiveness of the project actions. Monitoring the progress of the project actions by monitoring indicators defined in the monitoring protocol.

C.1.4 Analysis of the results achieved and/or deviations experienced/expected as compared to the original estimates (KPI). Monitoring the impact of the project and the technical effectiveness of the project actions by analyzing the results achieved and/or deviations experienced/expected as compared to the original estimates and any inputs in the KPI Webtool
